The sunset and demise of the Roman Empire, as seen through the courageous and bleary eyes of the great general and soldier, The Emperor Antony, who defended Rome from the murder of Julius Caesar, Mardian, only to squander the untold spoils of empire for his passionate obsession with the Egyptian queen, Cleopatra. A new rendering of two of Shakespeare's most resonant tragedies.
